Osimhen’s 93rd-minute bicycle kick stuns Samsunspor
Nigerian striker seals Galatasaray thriller with late heroics

Victor Osimhen delivered a moment of pure drama at Rams Park, sealing Galatasaray’s 3-2 victory over Samsunspor with a stunning bicycle kick deep into stoppage time.
The Nigerian striker rose to the occasion in the 93rd minute, ensuring the league leaders maintained their momentum in the Trendyol Super League.
It was a breathtaking contest filled with twists. Leroy Sane opened the scoring with a powerful strike before setting up Osimhen for his first goal of the night.
Samsunspor fought back through Musaba and Emre Kılınç, the latter’s deflected effort in the 88th minute appearing to snatch a point. But Osimhen had the final word, producing a spectacular finish that sent the home crowd into raptures.
The victory keeps Galatasaray firmly at the top with 36 points, despite missing six key players through injury, suspension, and disciplinary sanctions.
Fans responded with chants and banners declaring their belief that the championship is destined for the yellow and reds this season.
Osimhen’s decisive brace not only secured the win but also underlined his remarkable scoring record.
He has now netted five goals in 11 Super Lig appearances this campaign, taking his overall tally to 48 goals in 55 matches for Galatasaray.
