AFN Mourns Former Executive Board Member, Amb. Manta Haruna Mohammed

The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has announced with deep sorrow the passing of Ambassador Manta Haruna Mohammed, a distinguished former member of its board.

In a message conveyed to board members and the wider athletics community, AFN President Chief Tonobok Okowa paid tribute to Mohammed’s service and lasting impact.

‘Amb. Mohammed served our athletics community with dedication and distinction, contributing significantly to the development and advancement of athletics during his tenure. His commitment, vision, and leadership left an indelible mark on our organization,’ Okowa stated.
