Liverpool: Alexander Isak Undergoes Surgery After Tottenham Injury
Liverpool have confirmed that striker Alexander Isak has successfully undergone surgery following the injury he sustained in Saturday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
Isak was hurt in a challenge while scoring the opening goal of the game and was forced to leave the pitch shortly afterwards. Subsequent medical examinations revealed an ankle injury that included a fibula fracture, requiring immediate surgical intervention.
The operation was completed today, and Liverpool stated on their official website that Isak’s rehabilitation will now continue at the AXA Training Centre. No timeframe has yet been placed on his return to action.
