Galatasaray Seal €23m Deal for Raphael Onyedika

Galatasaray have completed their first signing of the winter transfer window, landing Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika from Club Brugge.

According to Africafoot, the Turkish giants reached an agreement with Brugge after negotiations reduced the asking price from €25 million to €23 million.

Onyedika, 24, will sign a four-year contract with an option for an additional year. His annual salary is set at €1 million.

The defensive midfielder has featured in 24 matches across all competitions this season, logging 1,780 minutes and contributing two goals and one assist.

Onyedika’s arrival marks Galatasaray’s first major reinforcement of the January window, as the club looks to strengthen its squad for the second half of the campaign.
