Porto Beat Beşiktaş to Terem Moffi Loan Deal

Portuguese giants FC Porto have secured the signing of Nigerian forward Terem Moffi from Nice, finalizing a loan agreement with an €8 million purchase option, according to French outlet L’Equipe.

The 26-year-old striker, who had also been linked with Turkish side Beşiktaş, is expected to travel to Portugal today to join his new teammates.

The move comes as Porto coach Francesco Farioli continues to strengthen his attacking options, with Moffi seen as a key addition to the squad.

Beşiktaş, meanwhile, had identified Moffi as a potential replacement after selling Tammy Abraham to Aston Villa for €21 million, but the Istanbul club will now have to turn their attention to alternative targets.

Moffi has featured in 15 matches for Nice this season, logging 786 minutes and scoring three goals. His arrival at Porto is expected to add depth and firepower to the team’s frontline as they push for domestic and European success.
