Besiktas bid €15m for Arokodare, Wolves demand €25–30m

Besiktas have submitted a €15 million bid for Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare, according to transfer expert Ekrem Konur.

Konur reports that the Turkish giants are keen to bring the 25-year-old forward from Wolverhampton Wanderers, but their opening offer falls short of the Premier League club’s valuation. Wolves are said to be holding out for a fee in the region of €25–30 million, making Besiktas’ proposal insufficient.

Arokodare, who joined Wolves from Belgian side Genk for €26 million, has yet to fully establish himself in England. Konur notes that the Super Eagles striker has started only 40% of Wolves’ Premier League matches this season.

Despite his limited role, Arokodare has featured in 22 games, scoring four goals and providing one assist. His current contract runs until the summer of 2029, with an option for an additional year.
