Beşiktaş Set Condition for Ndidi’s Exit Amid Ajax Interest

Turkish powerhouse Beşiktaş have made clear the condition under which Wilfred Ndidi could leave the club less than a year into his three-year contract.

According to Sabah, Ajax recently approached Beşiktaş with an offer that included a €2 million loan fee and a €12 million purchase option for the Nigerian midfielder.

The Istanbul club, however, rejected the proposal outright.

The report explained that Beşiktaş are not opposed to Ndidi’s departure in principle, but they insist that any deal must guarantee a permanent transfer.

‘Beşiktaş will not accept a simple option to buy,’ Sabah wrote. ‘The club’s management has conveyed to Ajax that the purchase clause must be mandatory. Only then will they consider allowing Ndidi to leave.’

Ndidi, who joined Beşiktaş at the start of the season on a three-year contract, has quickly become a key figure in the squad.

His performances have attracted interest from abroad, but the Black Eagles are determined to protect their investment.

Sabah added: ‘The board believes Ndidi is too valuable to risk losing without certainty. If Ajax truly want him, they must commit to a permanent deal after the loan.’
