Fulham Vs Tottenham: Iwobi Makes 250th EPL Start, Closing in on 10,000 Passes

Alex Iwobi is in Fulham’s starting lineup against Tottenham Hotspur in their Premier League clash at Craven Cottage.

It marks the Nigerian’s 250th start in 313 Premier League appearances since making his debut in October 2015.

The 29-year-old is also starting his 22nd game of the season, having featured in all league matches so far, with three goals and three assists to his name.

This fixture is Iwobi’s 16th Premier League meeting with Spurs, and he is still chasing his first goal against the North London side.

His only involvement against them came in December 2024, when he provided the assist for Tom Cairney’s equalizer in a 1-1 draw at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Iwobi has scored 34 goals and provided 38 assists in 312 Premier League games overall, and he is closing in on the milestone of 10,000 passes in the competition.

Alongside him, fellow Nigerian Calvin Bassey is also named in the starting lineup, while Samuel Chukwueze misses out due to injury.
