Marseille Boss Beye: Nnadi Brings Pace, Power, and Composure

Olympique Marseille manager Habib Beye has spoken highly of Nigerian midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi, describing him as an ‘interesting player’ with qualities that could strengthen the team.

Nnadi joined the Ligue 1 side last month from Belgian club Zulte Waregem but has yet to make his debut.

Beye remains confident that the 20-year-old will make a strong impression once he adapts to the demands of French football.

‘He’s a very interesting player because he brings a lot of physical impact and is very quick,’ Beye told Coeur Marseillais.

‘He is mobile, covers a lot of ground, and despite the intensity of his play, he maintains excellent control of the ball. That composure is exactly what we need in midfield.’

The coach revealed that Nnadi was not included in the squad for the Brest match due to limited preparation time, but praised the quality of training sessions since then.

‘This week of training, like for all the players, has been of very high quality,’ he added, suggesting that Nnadi’s debut may be on the horizon.
