NPFL: Enyimba Open Gates for Fans in Plateau United Showdown

Enyimba FC have announced that fans will be admitted free of charge for their Nigeria Premier Football League clash against Plateau United on Sunday, marking the end of a three-match sanction that had kept supporters out of the Aba stadium.

The club confirmed the decision in a statement, emphasizing the importance of rallying fans behind the team during a difficult phase of the campaign.

The Aba Elephants, currently sitting 17th on the table with 33 points from 29 matches, are battling to avoid relegation and hope the return of their passionate supporters will provide the energy needed to secure a vital result.

The sanction had been imposed after security breaches in their matchday 21 fixture against Barau FC, forcing them to play three home games behind closed doors.

With the gates now thrown open, Enyimba are urging fans to turn out in large numbers and give the team their full backing.

The crucial encounter against Plateau United is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba, as both sides look to strengthen their positions heading into the final stretch of the season.
