Super Eagles Set for June Friendlies Against Poland and Portugal

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are gearing up for a thrilling summer of international football, with confirmed friendly matches against Poland and Portugal during the FIFA window in June.

Fresh from defeating World Cup-bound Iran and holding Jordan to a draw in Antalya, Turkey, the three-time African champions will continue their preparations with two high-profile fixtures.

NFF’s FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachon of Eurodata Sport, announced that Nigeria will face Poland at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw on 3rd June, before taking on Portugal on 10th June.

The venue for the Portugal clash will be confirmed in the coming days.

The encounter with Portugal will serve as the final warm-up for the European giants before they depart for the FIFA World Cup finals, jointly hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico this summer.

In addition to the June friendlies, the Super Eagles will defend their crown at the Unity Cup Tournament in London, scheduled for 26th-30th May, further adding to a busy and competitive calendar for the reigning champions.
