Annabelle Fasuba to Open 2026 Outdoor Season with Long Jump, 300m and Relay

After a rollercoaster indoor season capped by a 7.36s personal best in the 60m and victory at the England Athletics U17 Indoor Championships in Sheffield, rising talent Annabelle Fasuba is set to make her 2026 outdoor debut this Sunday in Plymouth.
Fasuba will open her campaign with the long jump, stepping into the event competitively for the first time this year. Despite limited preparation due to unpredictable weather conditions, she is aiming to execute well and gain valuable experience from her three allotted attempts.
Just an hour later, she will return to the track for the 300m, where she hopes to start her season with a new personal best. Having approached the distance with hesitation last year, Fasuba now enters with confidence, clarity, and a refined race plan.
Her busy day will conclude with the 4x300m relay, a test of both endurance and recovery between events.
Looking ahead, Fasuba’s main events, the 100m (11.51PB) and 200m (23.72PB), are scheduled in two weeks’ time. Those races are expected to provide a clearer picture of her form and highlight what adjustments may be needed as she builds toward the peak of her season.
