Onuachu 4 Goals Away From Making Süper Lig History

Trabzonspor’s Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu is on the brink of rewriting the record books in the Turkish Süper Lig.
The towering forward has been in sensational form this season, netting 22 goals in league play and 24 across all competitions.
His latest strike came in Trabzonspor’s victory over Galatasaray, further cementing his place at the top of the scoring charts.
With just four more goals needed, Onuachu could become the foreign player with the most goals in a single season for Trabzonspor.
The current benchmarks are Shota Arveladze’s 25 goals and Alexander Sörloth’s 24 goals in past campaigns.
Onuachu’s prolific run is reminiscent of his 2020/21 season at Genk, where he scored 29 goals, marking the best tally of his career.
This year’s performance already stands as his second-best scoring season, and the countdown is on for him to etch his name into Trabzonspor’s history.
Currently, Onuachu leads the Süper Lig’s golden boot race, ahead of Eldor Shomurodov, who has 16 goals.
With Trabzonspor still having matches left to play, fans are eagerly watching to see if the Nigerian striker can achieve this milestone and secure his place among the club’s legends.
