Okoye, Okonkwo Among Africa’s 10 Most Valuable Goalkeepers

Nigeria’s Maduka Okoye and Arthur Okonkwo have been ranked among the ten most valuable goalkeepers in Africa.

Okoye, 26, who plays for Udinese Calcio in Italy, is valued at €10 million, while 24-year-old Okonkwo, currently with Wrexham AFC in England, has a market value of €3 million.

Their inclusion places Nigeria alongside some of Africa’s finest goalkeeping talents spread across Europe and beyond.

At the top of the list is Cameroon’s André Onana, the 30-year-old Trabzonspor goalkeeper, valued at €12 million.

Senegal’s Yehvann Diouf of OGC Nice follows in third with €7 million, while DR Congo’s Matthieu Epolo of Standard Liège and Cote d’Ivoire’s Yahia Fofana of Caykur Rizespor are both valued at €5 million.

Burkina Faso’s Hervé Koffi, who plays for Angers SCO, also shares the €5 million mark.

Veteran Senegalese goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, now at Al-Ahli SFC, is valued at €4.5 million, while Morocco’s Yassine Bounou of Al-Hilal SFC comes in at €3.5 million.

Completing the list is Alban Lafont of Panathinaikos, representing Cote d’Ivoire, with a valuation of €3 million.
