Maduka Okoye Reaches Personal Milestone as Udinese Beat AC Milan

Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye reached a personal milestone on Saturday evening, recording his first clean sheet in four Serie A appearances against AC Milan as Udinese stunned the Rossoneri 3-0 at San Siro.

Okoye, who has been in superb form since returning from injury, was unbreachable throughout the contest, denying Milan’s forwards and anchoring a defensive performance that allowed Udinese to claim a famous victory.

The result also marked his third consecutive clean sheet in Serie A, the first time he has achieved that feat in his career.

The Nigerian international had last conceded in Udinese’s 1-0 defeat to Juventus on March 14, but has since shut out Como, Empoli, and now Milan. His consistency has been vital for Udinese, who are battling to secure safety with seven matches left in the 2025–26 season.

Saturday’s emphatic win was not only a boost to Udinese’s survival hopes but also a personal triumph for Okoye, who had never previously kept Milan scoreless in his Serie A outings.
