According to Acting President Sir Kelechi Mejuobi, the move is aimed at diversifying revenue streams beyond annual registration fees and rebates, while also promoting the association’s activities and enhancing patronage.
The committee’s mandate includes sourcing revenue for the effective running of the association, engaging corporate bodies for sponsorship of courses, seminars, workshops, and promotional examinations, and liaising with the Nigeria Football Federation’s Marketing Department to harmonize sponsorship drives.
It is also tasked with exploring partnerships with Nigerian airlines to secure discounted travel for referees officiating domestic league matches.
The committee is chaired by Vice President 2, Ibrahim Umar Fagge, with Secretary General Dr. Suleiman Omezia as Vice Chairman.
