Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen endured a dramatic evening during and after his side’s Turkish Cup quarter-final defeat to Gençlerbirliği.
The Nigerian forward, returning from injury, was introduced in the 78th minute but became the centre of attention in the closing stages.

‘These mistakes can never get in the way of the effort, commitment and passion he brings to the team. Football is a game full of ups and downs. What really matters is how we react to these moments and support each other in the process.’
