Fabregas Urged to Avoid Chelsea Amid Managerial Turmoil

Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been linked with a sensational return to Stamford Bridge, this time as head coach.

The 38-year-old Spaniard, currently impressing at Champions League-chasing Como, has been identified as a leading candidate to replace Liam Rosenior, who departed following Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat to Brighton after just 107 days in charge.

Fabregas joins a shortlist that includes Andoni Iraola, Xabi Alonso, and Julian Nagelsmann. However, not everyone believes Chelsea is the right move for the former Arsenal and Barcelona star.

Speaking to Andy’s Bet Club, ex-France international Emmanuel Petit issued a stark warning.

‘Cesc Fabregas to Chelsea? No, no, no. If you have to choose between Chelsea and Barcelona, you definitely go to Barcelona, not Chelsea.

‘Chelsea is a mess. It’s a mess. It’s a nightmare for managers; it’s kind of a nightmare as well for the players, actually. You will find more serenity even if you face a lot of pressure in Barcelona, he said.
