Osimhen pledges loyalty to Galatasaray after derby win

Victor Osimhen has spoken passionately about his future at Galatasaray following their emphatic 3-0 victory over Fenerbahçe, a result that brought the Lions to the brink of the Süper Lig title.
The Nigerian striker, who scored in the derby, made clear his devotion to the club: ‘I love Galatasaray with everything. I will always protect this crest as long as there is an opportunity. I will fight with everything for this crest.’
Osimhen also addressed the controversy surrounding Fenerbahçe’s objection to his protective arm bandage, dismissing the complaints.
‘Someone from the facility mentioned Fenerbahçe’s objection. I don’t understand these people. After all, they will play against the best team in the league. I came here, I scored my goal, I gave my message.’
He added that the derby felt easier than training sessions and underlined his confidence in front of goal: ‘As long as the chance comes, I can score against any team. This is my job and I think I did it well. We are much closer to becoming champions.’
