Ahmed Musa Thanks Fans as Kano Pillars Secure NPFL Survival
Says Sai Masu Gida Will Be Stronger Next Season

Ahmed Musa, MON, OON, the General Manager of Kano Pillars FC, has issued a heartfelt appreciation message following the club’s successful retention of its Nigeria Premier Football League status for the 2025/26 season.
Despite a slow and unfamiliar start to the campaign, Musa praised the resilience, character, and determination of the Flying Antelopes, who fought their way to safety.
He credited the achievement to the unwavering support of the club’s passionate fans, the prayers of the Kano community, and the commitment of the players and technical crew.
‘I wish to express our profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for guiding us through the successful completion of the season,’ Musa said. ‘This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support, prayers and encouragement from the good people of Kano and football lovers across the country.’
He extended special thanks to the Kano State Government under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for continuous support, as well as to jersey sponsors RFI Hausa for their belief in the club’s vision.
Musa also acknowledged the Kano State Football Association, stakeholders, media partners, and supporters’ groups for standing firmly behind Sai Masu Gida throughout the highs and lows of the season.
‘To our players and technical crew, thank you for your sacrifice, commitment and fighting spirit till the very end,’ Musa added. ‘The journey was challenging, but your determination ensured that Kano Pillars FC remains where it truly belongs.’
Looking ahead, Musa promised a stronger and more competitive Kano Pillars in the 2026/27 season.
‘Under my leadership, we will continue to do everything humanly possible to restore and propel the status of this great club to the level it deserves among the elite clubs in Africa,’ he assured.
