NFF hails Sunday Dare at 60, celebrates book launch in Abuja

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has extended warm congratulations to Chief Sunday Akin Dare (CON), Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, as he marks his 60th birthday alongside the public presentation of his new book.
NFF President Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau (MON) praised the former Minister of Sports, describing the milestone as one worthy of grand celebration.
‘The Nigeria Football Federation hereby warmly congratulates you on your Diamond Jubilee Anniversary, which you are marking not only with joy and in good health and sound mind, but with the public presentation of a book titled One Thousand and Ninety-Five Days.
‘On behalf of the Nigeria football family, I earnestly wish you many more years of laudable service to the fatherland,’ Gusau said.
Chief Dare, who holds the titles of Agbaakin of Ogbomoso and Sarkin Wasanni Hausaland, will present his book on Saturday at the Congress Hall of the Los Angeles Event Centre, Abuja.
The event will feature Vice President Kashim Shettima (GCON) as Special Guest of Honour.
The ceremony will be chaired by Imo State Governor, Chief Hope Uzodimma, Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, while the Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr. Dele Alake, will formally present the book.
Other dignitaries expected include the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief George Akume, and the Governors of Kaduna, Ogun, Gombe, and Yobe States.
The book, One Thousand and Ninety-Five Days, reflects on Dare’s tenure and contributions to Nigerian sports and public service, adding a literary dimension to his Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
