Samuel Chukwueze has become the 22nd player in camp as the Super Eagles intensify preparations for their high-profile international friendly against Portugal.

The AC Milan winger, who spent the latter half of the just-concluded season on loan at Fulham, arrived later than his teammates after giving his mother her final funeral rites in Nigeria. His presence adds depth to the squad as they gear up for one of their toughest tests in recent months.

The Super Eagles, under coach Eric Chelle, will be keen to defend their 12-game unbeaten run when they face a Cristiano Ronaldo-led Portuguese side.
