Nigerian Star Friday Adams Signs for Romanian Side Cluj

Romanian Superliga club Universitatea Cluj have confirmed the signing of Nigerian winger Friday Adams, strengthening their attacking options ahead of the new season.
Adams arrives from fellow Romanian side FC Botoșani, where he spent three seasons and made more than 80 appearances across all competitions.
Known for his tireless work rate and ability to contribute in both defensive and attacking phases, he quickly adapted to the demands of the Romanian top flight.
The 25-year-old began his career at the Ikon Allah Kaduna academy in Nigeria before moving to Russia to join youth side FDC Vista.
His first major breakthrough came with Armenian club FC Noah, where he featured 35 times, scoring twice and registering one assist.
Adams’ move to Cluj marks another step in his European journey, with the club confident his versatility and experience will add depth to their squad as they aim to compete strongly in the Superliga.
