Nigeria Hosts FIFA Women’s Football Leadership Workshop

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finalized plans to stage a three-day capacity-building programme for women football administrators, in collaboration with FIFA.
The initiative, scheduled for July 17–19 in Abuja, will feature six facilitators, including two FIFA-appointed experts and four distinguished Nigerian professionals.
FIFA women’s football technical experts Thubaelihle Sibanda and Setlhoko Tsholofelo Candy will lead sessions alongside Nigerian contributors such as Ms. Aisha Falode, Professor Mariam Suleiman, Dr. Anthonia Chinyere Uwa, and Mr. Mohammed Ameenu.
The programme will be coordinated by NFF’s Director of Competitions, Ruth David, herself a FIFA/CAF Match Commissioner.
The event underscores FIFA’s commitment to strengthening women’s football administration globally, while providing Nigerian administrators with tools to enhance governance, technical expertise, and safeguarding practices.
