Spain Dominate as Messi, Mbappé and Haaland Make World Cup Best XI

The best XI of the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been announced following a fan vote conducted after the tournament.

According to FIFA, supporters selected the standout players from the competition to form the team of the tournament.

Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha was selected between the posts, while Spain’s Pedro Porro and Marc Cucurella were joined in defence by Argentina’s Lisandro Martínez and France’s Dayot Upamecano.

The midfield features Spain’s Rodri, England star Jude Bellingham and France forward-turned-midfielder Michael Olise.

The attack is led by Argentina captain Lionel Messi, France superstar Kylian Mbappé and Norway striker Erling Haaland.

The selection brings together some of the biggest names at the tournament, with players from Spain, Argentina, France, England, Norway and Cape Verde making the fan-voted team.
