Agboro finishes fourth in men’s 65kg weightlifting at Glasgow 2026
Nigeria’s Favour Omovigho Agboro finished fourth in the men’s 65kg weightlifting competition at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games on Sunday.
Agboro recorded a best snatch of 122kg before lifting 157kg in the clean and jerk for a combined total of 279kg.
His performance placed him fourth in the final standings.
Malaysia’s Aznil Bin Bidin Muhamad won the gold medal with a Commonwealth Games record total of 295kg, while India’s Raja Muthupandi claimed silver with 286kg.
Papua New Guinea’s Morea Baru took bronze after lifting 282kg.
