Osimhen Still Dreams of Premier League Move Despite Galatasaray Stance

Victor Osimhen remains fully committed to Galatasaray, but reports from England claim the Nigerian striker still harbors ambitions of playing in the Premier League in the future.

According to the report, Osimhen views the English top flight as the ideal stage to test himself against the world’s best players and compete consistently for major domestic and European honours.

It added that the 27-year-old’s representatives are actively monitoring opportunities that could eventually pave the way for a move to England or another of Europe’s top five leagues when the right opportunity arises.

A source close to the player was quoted as saying Osimhen’s camp will continue working to secure the best possible career move, stressing that the Nigerian international wants to compete at the highest level and challenge for major trophies every season.

Despite the speculation, Galatasaray have made it clear they have no intention of parting ways with their star striker. Club president Dursun Özbek recently reiterated that Osimhen is happy in Istanbul and remains central to the club’s ambitions both in the Turkish league and in European competitions.

The Turkish champions, who signed Osimhen permanently from Napoli in a deal worth €75 million, are reportedly unwilling to entertain offers below €150 million, underlining their determination to keep the club’s record signing.
