Onyedika Set for Bundesliga Switch as Frankfurt Agree €10m Deal with Club Brugge

Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika is set to continue his career in the German Bundesliga after Eintracht Frankfurt reached an agreement with Belgian champions Club Brugge for his transfer.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Frankfurt have agreed a deal worth €10 million for the 25-year-old Nigerian international, who had previously been linked with Turkish champions Galatasaray.

Onyedika reportedly turned down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia in favour of a move to the Bundesliga.

The transfer marks another major step in the midfielder’s career after three impressive seasons with Club Brugge, where he established himself as one of the Belgian league’s standout defensive midfielders.

Onyedika enjoyed another productive campaign during the 2025/26 season, making 42 appearances across all competitions and playing 3,046 minutes.

He contributed three goals and two assists as Club Brugge enjoyed another successful season domestically and in Europe.

If completed, the move will see the Nigerian international test himself in one of Europe’s top five leagues as Frankfurt strengthen their squad ahead of the new Bundesliga campaign.
