Grassrunners FC and Abakaliki FC pulled off major upsets on Monday as Inter Lagos and Ikorodu City suffered defeats on MatchDay 4 of the ongoing Ogunjobi Gold Cup pre-season tournament at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.

Grassrunners FC needed just 28 minutes to make the difference against Inter Lagos, with Ajibola Emmanuel capitalising on a defensive error before Ubi Johnson doubled the advantage with a well-placed effort. The victory moved Grassrunners to the top of the standings with 10 points.
