Arsenal Target 10 Straight Premier League Wins at Brighton
Arsenal will look to continue their perfect start to the 2026/27 season when they travel to face Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.
The Gunners have won all seven of their matches across competitions so far and another victory on the south coast would equal their club record for consecutive wins at the start of a season, set in 1903.
Arsenal are also chasing a significant Premier League milestone, with victory over Brighton taking them to 10 consecutive league wins for the first time in 24 years.
Mikel Arteta’s side have not lost to Brighton in their last six Premier League meetings, winning four and drawing two. Their last defeat came in a 3-0 home loss to the Seagulls in May 2023.
Brighton, however, have made the Amex a difficult venue for visiting teams. They have lost just one of their last six Premier League home matches, winning four and scoring at least twice in each of those victories.
Arsenal are also seeking a fifth consecutive Premier League away win, something Arteta has achieved only twice previously in his 127 away league matches as manager. Before his tenure, Arsenal had managed such a run only twice in their previous 290 away league games.
Bukayo Saka will be one of the players to watch. The England winger has contributed three goals and two assists in six Premier League away appearances against Brighton and has scored on each of his last three visits to the Amex.
Saka could make history if he scores again, becoming only the third Arsenal player to score in four consecutive away appearances against the same Premier League opponent, after Thierry Henry against Middlesbrough and Robert Pires against Tottenham.
Kai Havertz also has an impressive record against Brighton, with four goals and one assist in eight Premier League meetings.
Brighton are the side against whom he has recorded the second-highest number of goal involvements.
Martin Odegaard has scored three Premier League goals against Brighton, with only Wolves, against whom he has scored four, providing a better return.
