Man City Tipped For Title, Arsenal 2nd, Chelsea 4th Man United 5th In Early Premier League Forecast

Manchester City have been tipped to win the 2026/27 Premier League title, with Arsenal projected to finish three points behind them in second place.

The early forecast gives City 84 points from the season, compared with 81 for Arsenal, while Liverpool are projected to finish third with 66 points and Chelsea fourth on 65.

Manchester United, despite their disappointing opening five matches, are projected to recover and finish fifth with 60 points.

City are currently the only team with a perfect record, having won all five of their league matches.

Brighton, who have made one of the strongest starts to the campaign, are projected to finish sixth with 56 points, while Brentford are forecast to take seventh with 55.

Newcastle United are tipped for eighth on 54 points, followed by Tottenham in ninth with 51. Bournemouth, Leeds United and Everton are projected to finish 10th, 11th and 12th respectively, with 49 points each.

Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are forecast to occupy 13th to 15th positions, with 48, 47 and 47 points respectively.

Sunderland and Fulham are projected to survive in 16th and 17th, with 44 and 42 points respectively.

The forecast has newly promoted Ipswich Town, Hull City and Coventry City occupying the bottom three positions and suffering relegation.
