Tuttosport: Why Osimhen is not interested in Manchester United move

Tuttosport has revealed why Nigerian international forward Victor Osimhen is not interested in moving to Manchester United.

The newspaper confirms Jorge Mendes is trying to bring Cristiano Ronaldo to Napoli and Osimhen to Manchester United, but the Nigeria international doesn’t seem entirely convinced of joining the Red Devils, reports Football Italia.

Sky Sport Italia reported Thursday night that Ronaldo is desperate to leave Old Trafford to play Champions League football this season, so his agent Jorge Mendes has offered him to several Italian clubs, including Inter, Milan and Napoli.

With Osimhen being a long-time target of the Red Devils, Mendes’ plan is to bring Ronaldo to the Stadio Maradona and the Nigeria striker to Old Trafford.

According to Tuttosport, Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda has been informed about the possible deal, but his client isn’t entirely convinced of joining the Red Devils.

Osimhen also wants to play Champions League football and is convinced he can further develop under Luciano Spalletti this term.
