Liverpool Vs Man City: Haaland looking to break another Premier League scoring record

Erling Haaland will be seeking to set another Premier League scoring record when he files out with Manchester City against Liverpool Sunday evening at Anfield.

Last week, the 22 year old broke yet another record with his goal against Southampton. He became the fastest player to score 15 Premier League goals, doing it in just nine matches.

On Sunday, he will hoping to equal or break a record set by a former Liverpool player, Luis Suarez in 2013.

The Uruguayan scored an impressive 16 goals within a 10-game period for the Reds between October and December 2013.

Haaland, with 15 goals in nine games will equal the record if he scores just once and surpass it if he scores a brace.

The Norwegian is the first player to score in his first four away games in the Premier League, scoring at the London Stadium against West Ham, St. James’ Park against Newcastle, Villa Park against Aston Villa, and Molineux against Wolves.

Haaland also holds the record for most goals (15) and most goal involvements (18) in a player’s first 10 appearances in the Premier League with a game to spare.

He scored 10 of his Premier League goals with his left foot, two with the right and three headed goals.
