Terem Moffi rises to highest career market value ever

Lorient forward Terem Moffi remains Nigeria’s most valuable player in the French Ligue 1 following Transfermarkt’s update of the market value in France.

Moffi, 23, is now valued at €15m, his highest career market value ever, barely two months after his value rose to his previous career best of €12m.

The Nigerian who has scored eight times in 12 Ligue 1 games for Lorient so far this year and is joint fourth in the top scorers’ chart has been rising steadily since December 2021 and March this year when he crashed from his then career high of €12m in October 2021 first to €10m two months later before crashing further to €9m in May 2022.

With Moffi back scoring goals in the Ligue, his value has also keep rising, first from €9m in May to €12m in September and now a career high €15m.

While Moffi’s value rose, that of Super Eagles and Nantes of France forward Moses Simon dropped by €1m from the €10m career high value in September to €9m.

Moses has scored four times and bagged two assists in 11 Ligue 1 games so far this season.

Innocent Bonke, Moffi’s compatriot at Lorient teammate is valued at just €2m which incidentally is the highest he has risen in terms of valuation.
