AC Milan Set Deadline for Final Decision on Boniface Transfer

AC Milan are expected to make a final decision on the potential signing of Victor Boniface between Saturday night and Sunday morning, according to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Nigerian striker underwent medical tests with the Rossoneri on Friday and Saturday, but concerns remain over the condition of his right knee, which has previously undergone two surgeries in 2019 and 2020.

Boniface also struggled with injuries during the 2024–25 season, prompting Milan’s medical team to conduct a thorough evaluation before proceeding with the deal.

While the transfer is still under consideration, Milan are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing another striker regardless of the outcome.

The club is factoring in Boniface’s expected absence in January 2026, when he will likely represent Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations.
