AC Milan Vs Napoli UCL game: Capello says Osimhen’s return could shift the tie in Napoli’s favour

Former Real Madrid and Italy coach, Fabio Capello believes that Victor Osimhen’s anticipated return could shift the balance in favour of Napoli when they visit San Siro stadium on Wedbesday for the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal clash.
The 76 year old however believe it will become a 50-50 if the Nigerian misses the game through injury.
The Nigerian returned from international duty with muscle injury and missed his club’s last two serie A games viz the 4-0 loss to Milan in Naples and the 2-1 win at Lecce.
Osimhen has netted 5 times in 29 games for Napoli so far this season to sit as the club’s top scorer this season. Four of the goals came in the Champions League while the remaining 21 came in 23 Serie A games.
The 24 year old has returned to training and even trained on Easter Sunday.
Capello told La Gazzetta dello Sport his belief that there is one player who can shift the balance in favour of Napoli.
‘Napoli has strengths and weaknesses. One? Di Lorenzo one-on-one with Leao is hard. Milan will think about this, then it will depend on Osimhen,” he said.
‘If he doesn’t play, it’s 50-50. If he plays, he moves 5% by himself. Pioli in these days will have to understand how not to let him get the ball while Spalletti will work on his head: he must convince Napoli that they are fine, even if in Lecce…”
