AFCON 2025: Malian Referee Boubou Traoré to Officiate Tunisia Vs Nigeria Clash

Malian referee Boubou Traoré has been appointed to take charge of the high-stakes Africa Cup of Nations Group C encounter between Tunisia and Nigeria. The match will be played on Saturday, December 27, at the Complexe Sportif de Fès, with kick-off scheduled for 21:00 local time.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has also named Senegalese official Issa Sy as the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for the contest.
Both Tunisia and Nigeria head into the fixture level on three points after winning their opening matches, but the Carthage Eagles currently top the group thanks to a superior goal difference.
Saturday’s clash is therefore expected to be decisive in determining who finishes first in Group C and secures an early passage to the Round of 16.
The Tunisian national team will round off their group campaign against Tanzania on Tuesday, December 30, with that match set to kick off at 17:00.
