AFN/Dynamic Athletics Meet 2025 Opens Registration For July 10 Event in Lagos
The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), in partnership with Dynamic Athletics Management, has officially opened registration for the highly anticipated AFN/Dynamic Athletics Meet 2025, scheduled for Thursday, July 10 at the Yabatech Sports Complex, Lagos.
Now in its second edition and newly rebranded, the meet promises to be bigger, faster, and more competitive than ever, with free registration open to all athletes until Monday, July 8.

This year’s event will feature a full slate of elite competitions, including:
Sprints: 100m, 200m, 400m
Middle-distance: 800m, 1500m
Hurdles: 100mH, 110mH, 400mH
Field events: Long jump, triple jump, shot put, discus, javelin, high jump
Walk race: 5000m
Relays: 4x100m, 4x400m, and for the first time, Mixed 4x100m and Mixed 4x400m
AFN Technical Director Coach Gabriel Okon described the meet as a strategic high-performance platform ahead of the National Trials, while Dynamic Athletics founder Olabanji Ayegbusi hailed the partnership as a bold step toward innovation and sustainable athlete development.
With premium cash prizes, international-standard competition, and a vibrant Lagos crowd, the AFN/Dynamic Athletics Meet 2025 is set to become a defining moment in Nigeria’s athletics calendar.
