Annabelle Fasuba Storms to 7.36s Gold, PB and Championships’ Record at England Athletics Indoors

Annabelle Fasuba, daughter of 2008 World Indoor 60m champion and former African 100m record holder Olusoji Fasuba, stormed to victory with a lifetime best and championship record of 7.36 seconds to win gold at the England Athletics Indoor Championships 2026 (U20, U17 and U15 individual open) held Saturday at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) in Sheffield.
Representing City of Plymouth AC, Annabelle crossed the line 0.14 seconds ahead of Princess Okoma of Herne Hill Harriers, who clocked a personal best of 7.50.
Croydon Harriers’ Shivelle Marshall also impressed, setting a new lifetime best of 7.51 to take bronze.
Annabelle’s winning time is not only a personal breakthrough but also ranks as the third fastest performance by an U18 athlete worldwide this season and she is just under 15!
