AS Roma join Manchester City in race for Ola Aina

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are looking at the possibility of acquiring one Nottingham Forest’s left back, Ola Aina this season.

Roma were initially linked Ajax for Devyne Rensch but could not strike any deal.

The Rome based side look to have shifted their focus to Aina who has been in great form for Forest this season, starting all 21 games played so far in the Premier League and soring twice.

Aina’s contract with Forest is set to expire in 2025, making him a likely target for Roma who have prioritized the addition of a new fullback to their roster.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi has made first inquiries with the player’s entourage and is monitoring his situation at the English club.

The Nigerian is not new to playing in Italy as he featured 113 times for Torino and scored two goals. He also provided seven assists.
