Atalanta Vs Como: Lookman looking to score in two Serie A games in a row for the sixth time
Ademola Lookman will be looking to score for the second straight Serie A game when Atalanta host Cesc Fabregas’ Como at the Gewiss stadium in Bergamo.
The Nigerian scored on his Serie A debut for the season when he netted the winner in Atalanta’s 3-2 defeat of Fiorentina last week and he will looking to score for the second straight game for the sixth time since he made his debut in the competition in August 2022.
Lookman has been an inspiring figure for Atalanta and reached double figures of goals in his first two seasons in the Serie A. He netted 13 in 31 games in his debut season and 11 also in 31 games last season.
He has scored once in his only game in the competition and will feel he will add Como as the 17th team in will score against in the division.
The 26 year old has netted 25 goals in 63 Serie A games so far, just three goals away from the 28 Obafemi Martins scored in 88 games to become the third most prolific Nigerian in the history of the competition.
Victor Osimhen is Nigeria’s most prolific striker in Serie A history with 65 goals from 108 games, followed by Simy who has scored 34 times in 116 appearances.
