The Yabatech Sports Ground in Yaba is set to erupt this weekend as Nigeria’s finest athletes battle for tickets to the 20th World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
With history, heartbreak, and redemption hanging in the air, the 2025 Nigerian Track and Field Championships promise a spectacle of speed, grit, and glory.
Fueling the fire are Arise News and Premium Trust Bank, whose sponsorship has injected fresh energy into the event.
Arise News has committed ₦20 million to the championships, while Premium Trust Bank continues its partnership with the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), reaffirming its role in transforming the sport’s landscape.
