Besiktas join Trabzonspor in race for Onuachu

Another Turkish Super Lig side, Besiktas have reportedly joined the race for Nigeria striker, Paul Onuachu.

The 30-year-old has been on the radar of Trabzonspor who could not afford the transfer fee the forward’s club, Southampton demanded for in the summer.

Onuachu spent last season on loan at Trabzonspor, and scored 17 times and provided four assists in 25 appearances.

Turkish news outlet, Fanatik, says Beşiktaş have added Onuachu to their transfer list.

The newspaper also reported that Southampton are demanding 13 million euros for their Nigerian striker.

Onuachu has been reduced to a bit part player at his Premier League side. He has featured 18 times for the club without a goal or an assist credited to him.
