Boniface Set for Milan Medical After Leverkusen Loan Agreement

Victor Boniface has officially landed in Italy to undergo his medical with AC Milan, following a finalized loan deal with Bayer Leverkusen.

The Rossoneri secured the Nigerian striker on a season-long loan worth €5 million, with an option to buy for an additional €24 million. The move comes after Milan’s unsuccessful negotiations with Manchester United and Juventus for Rasmus Højlund and Dušan Vlahović.

Boniface, 24, has drawn attention not only for his talent but also for his injury history. Italian media outlets have emphasized the significance of his medical evaluation, citing two cruciate ligament injuries from his time at Bodø/Glimt and recurring muscle issues during his stint with Leverkusen.

If he clears the medical on Friday, Boniface will become Milan’s eighth signing of the summer, joining a star-studded list that includes Luka Modrić, Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci, Pervis Estupiñán, Koni De Winter, Zachary Athekame, and Pietro Terracciano.
