Bukayo Saka: ‘I’ll do everything I can to make it right’
Apologises for penalty miss in West Ham draw

Bukayo Saka has promised to do everything to ensure Arsenal remain in the Premier League title race until the after his 52nd minute penalty miss allowed West Ham to draw 2-2 with the Gunners in their clash on Sunday at the London stadium.
“Regardless of the outcome, I’ll always accept my responsibility. Apologies Gunners, I’ll do everything I can to make it right,” the 21-year-old wrote on
Instagram.
Arsenal were 2-0 up in the first nine minutes of the game before West Ham halved the deficit towards the end of the first half when Said Benrahma scored from the spot.
The Gunners were given the opportunity to restore their two goals advantage after Gabriel Martinelli’s effort struck the outstretched arm of Michail Antonio and the referee wasted no time in pointing to the spot.
Saka however missed the kick and West Ham struck home the equaliser two minutes later.
Saka, whose most recent penalty miss before Sunday came in the Euro 2020 final has however vowed to “do everything” to rectify his mistake.
