CAF Champions League: Rangers to play Angolan side, Sagrada Esperança in second round

Nigeria league champions, Rangers international of Enugu will face Sagrada Esperança of Angola next month in the second round of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.

The ‘Flying Antelopes’ defeated Comoros Islands champions, U.S de Zilimadjou in the first preliminary round 2-1 on aggregate.

They will play the first leg on the weekend of September 13-14 at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, the venue where they played U.S de Zilimadjou to secure the berth to the next round.

The second leg will hold a week later at the Estádio 11 de Novembro, Luanda.

Winner of the two ties will qualify for the group phase of the competition which starts in October.
