Chelsea agree deal for Frank Lampard to become interim manager

Chelsea football club have reportedly agree deal for former player and coach, Frank Lampard to return as the club’s interim manager following the dismissal of Graham Potter last Sunday.

The former Chelsea midfielder who has lost more games (39) than he has won (37) as a Premier League manager is set to be put in temporary charge until the end of the season as the club seek a permanent replacement for Potter.

According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, ‘Chelsea are in concrete talks with Frank Lampard to become caretaker manager until the end of the season. Discussions with Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique continue for future project. Lampard, 100% prepared to accept the job.’

Lmapard has been in charge as manager at Chelsea and Everton and he has superintendent over 95 games. He has drawn 19 of the games with a win rate of 38.95%. His teams have scored 137 times and conceded 136 goals.

This season, the 44 year old was in charge of 20 Premier League games with Everton and he won just three of the games, lost six and lost 11 times. He was able to get 15 points out of a possible 60!.
