Chelsea ready to offer Osimhen €10m a year wage

La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Italy’s most authoritative sports newspaper, says Chelsea are ready to pay Napoli around the €70m Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia offered Napoli for Victor Osimhen as well as match the around €10m annual wage for paid to the Nigerian by the Serie A club.

The west London side seem to be Osimhen’s only realistic chance of Osimhen staying and playing in Europe and the Premier League side are determined to get the 25-year-old.

Osimhen earns an annual wage of around €10m and Chelsea are believed to have concluded to offer the Nigerian the same.

French side, PSG are believed to be the front runner especially after reports that they have agreed personal terms with Osimhen.

The Ligue 1 side were also reported to be unwilling to pay the 130m euros release clause of the player.

International transfer expert and journalist, Fabrizio Romano says PSG are not working on any deal for Osimhen.

‘Chelsea and Al Ahli (Saudi Arabia) are still the only clubs in talks for Victor Osimhen.

‘Chelsea are talking to Osimhen’s camp as main option on four-players list.

‘Victor doesn’t plan to reduce his salary.

‘Al Ahli are ready if Chelsea deal doesn’t happen,’ wrote Romano on twitter.
