Chelsea secure first Premier League win Vs Man United in seven years!

Cole Palmer inspired Chelsea to a remarkable and historic Premier League victory over Man United Thursday night at Stamford Bridge.

The victory was Cheslea’s first in the Premier League against Man United for the first time since November 2017 when the Blues won 1-0 courtesy an Alvaro
Morata’s 55th minute goal at Stamford Bridge.

Since then, Chelsea have gone 12 games without a win against the Red Devils who looked to be coasting to their second Premier League double win over Chelsea
until added time when Palmer scored twice after the 100-minute mark to complete his hat-trick to earn Chelsea the remarkable win despite having previously
given up a two-goal lead.

According to Opta stats, Manchester United were leading in this game at 99:17, the latest a side has ever led in a Premier League match they’ve gone on to
lose.

Also, Cole Palmer’s hat-trick goal for Chelsea timed at 100:39 was the latest winning goal on record (since 2006-07) in a Premier League game.

Palmer also became the first Chelsea player to score home and away against Man Utd in the same Premier League campaign since Juan Mata (2012-13) and the first English player to do so for the Blues since Frank Lampard (2010-11).
