Chuba Akpom market value soars to €12m
Nigeria eligible forward, Chuba Akpom’s market values has soared from €7m just two months ago to €12m in the latest update released by transfermarket.
Akpom has had an impressive campaign with Middlesbrough in the Championships, the second tier of English football, scoring 29 goals in 42 games across all
competitions.
The 27 year old’s 28 goals in 38 Championship games were the most scored by any player in the division and he was fittingly voted the player of the year.
His goals could however not get Middlesbrough back to the Premier League after going down from the English top flight in the 2008–09 season.
Akpom’s market valued has continued to rise in geometrical fashion since the start of the just ended season.
He rose from just under €3m (€2.8m) in October last year to €7m in March 2023 and now €12m in June.
